Headquartered in Chicago IL and founded in 2015, Brierhill Capital is a closely held alternative investment manager that invests its own capital in a diversified set of opportunities, from operating companies and real estate to alternative asset classes, with a focus on long-term growth and value creation.

Founder Ben Kriger previously worked in acquisitions at ATCO, a family office with over $2 billion in assets under management, and held finance and investment roles at a Starwood Capital subsidiary and Equity Office Properties. In 2018, he co-founded and served as managing partner of an institutional multifamily development firm alongside the former CEO of INTL and a co-founder of Blink Trading. Under his leadership, Brierhill has invested across office, multifamily, life science, retail, student housing, and industrial assets, as well as select operating businesses in private credit and real estate debt, digital film distribution and autonomous electric agriculture.

 

Ben graduated with an MBA from The Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania. Ben lives in the Chicago suburbs with his wife and three children.
